ZeroShotAPI is our most ambitious project yet - and this week it took a major step forward.
I had the pleasure of visiting our collaborator Professor Connor Taylor at the University of Nottingham - a visit that reinforced just how much momentum this project has built.
ZeroShot API is an InnovateUK-funded initiative pushing the boundaries of what AI can do in chemistry. At its core, we're conducting large-scale high-throughput experimentation (HTE) screening across three key chemical transformations, building chemical foundation models, and validating them using our automated HTE reactor.
The goal? Trained models that can predict reaction outcomes, and suggest ideal reaction conditions for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), with zero additional data - hence, ZeroshotAPI.
This collaboration is a powerful reminder of how far we've come - and how close we are to the next milestone: full commercialization.
At ReactWise, we provide the AI co-pilot for chemical process optimization, integrating with laboratory hardware and software - including ELN/LIMS systems - to enable truly autonomous laboratories.
Our vision is to become the intelligence layer of every modern R&D lab, across chemistry and pharma. ZeroShotAPI is taking us one step closer.
We'll be running exclusive workshops for professionals in pharmaceutical manufacturing to get hands-on exposure to ZeroShotAPI and explore what AI-driven process optimization could mean for your pipeline.
