Plastic, single use HTE plates are not compatible with the majority of industrially relevant solvents, such as toluene and dioxane. This limits a process team's ability to utilize the technique for development, optimization and scale-up. Reusable glass plates greatly extend the space of solvents that can be used, making HTE workflows accessible to a broader range of teams.
