From Pretoria to Cambridge, for good discussions, an in-person meeting, and a visit to our high-throughput lab.

Last week, Cloudius from CSIR (Pretoria, South Africa) visited our lab here in Cambridge, UK.

CSIR has been a fantastic academic collaborator, and this visit was all about pushing forward our joint work combining flow chemistry with machine learning - two fields that, together, are starting to change how chemists approach reaction optimization.

Flow chemistry gives us fast, reproducible data. Machine learning helps us make sense of it faster than traditional trial-and-error ever could. Put them together, and you start to see a real shift in how optimization gets done.

It was a great day of conversation, exchanging ideas, and also just to get to know the person you usually only see on a Zoom call. The early results from this collaboration are genuinely exciting and we'll be sharing more soon.

ReactWise was built by chemists for chemists, and that means staying close to the scientists in the wetlab - wherever in the world they are.

Grateful for collaborators like Cloudius and CSIR, who make the science better and more connected, and very excited for what's next.
