At ReactWise, our mission is to accelerate the future of chemical development through intelligent experimentation. We’re proud to be working with Pharmaron, a global leader in drug R&D services, to help integrate modern machine learning tools into their day-to-day workflows - enabling smarter decision-making, faster process development, and ultimately, better outcomes for their clients.

Pharmaron’s team partnered with ReactWise with a clear objective: to harness the power of their existing experimental data and apply it to future projects. By leveraging historical campaign data and applying advanced Bayesian Optimization strategies, their chemists aim to a priori identify which reaction conditions are most likely to succeed - and which ones to avoid - long before setting up an experiment. This marks a major shift from trial-and-error to data-driven design.

ReactWise enables this transformation by providing a highly intuitive, chemist-friendly platform that abstracts away the complexity of machine learning. The software integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, allowing users to define optimization goals (e.g., yield, selectivity, impurity), explore parameter relationships, and receive intelligent suggestions for next-step experiments - all without writing a single line of code.

The collaboration is focused not only on optimization within individual projects, but also on knowledge transfer across campaigns - enabling insights from past work to inform new chemistry, new substrates, and even new modalities. By working closely with Pharmaron’s process teams, we’re continually shaping the platform to better support transfer learning, uncertainty quantification, and robust experiment planning at scale.

This partnership reflects our broader goal at ReactWise: to bring modern AI tools out of the hands of specialists and into the hands of every bench chemist. Pharmaron’s success so far is a strong signal that this future is already taking shape.
