It was a pleasure to attend the Automated Synthesis Forum and have our co-founder Daniel Wigh present how Multi-Task Bayesian Optimization (MTBO) can significantly accelerate process optimization in chemistry.
Co-authored by our co-founder & advisors, this work was published in ACS Central Science last year. With a C-H activation case study, we demonstrated that MTBO can reduce the experimental burden of optimization by up to 95% when compared to a space-filling DOE design.
